Happy Labor Day. Of the usual battleground states, Nevada, Michigan and Pennsylvania are the ones where union representation in the workforce tops 10%, notes the author of this piece via The Conversation that we’re running in the Current today: Labor votes: Discontent will accompany blue‑collar voters to the polls in the midterms
As the headline suggests, union voters are like so many other voters: not happy with, you know, All The Things.
And it seems (to me, anyway) the question about union voters is the same as the question about the general electorate at large — does the discontent translate to showing up, or checking out?
