Voter guide's up.

Happy Saturday. Choreographer and chief wrangler of the Nevada Current voter guide, deputy editor April Corbin Girnus, threw the switch yesterday afternoon, and now our 2026 general election voter guide is up for all to see and share and use.

There is some fine (and fun) coverage of higher profile contests like those for congress or governor. But as always our guide’s deliberate focus is on those down-ballot races full of candidates nobody’s heard of for public offices that don’t get much attention, especially the nonpartisan ones. And as in every Nevada Current voter guide over the last several years, that down-ballot nonpartisan emphasis is anchored by senior reporter Dana Gentry’s excellent and unparalleled coverage of judicial contests.

The guide also includes important dates, and some informative and useful how-to’s. And stories will be updated, and more stories added, as election deadlines near.

As I’ve noted before, I read and help edit all the voter guide stories as they’re getting filed, but by the time I’m marking my ballot I don’t remember who a lot of those folks are who are running for judge or whatever. So I turn to the Nevada Current voter guide. I can attest that it’s super useful!
