The legislation put in front of Susie Lee

Nevada AFL-CIO endorses a Democrat for governor. And yes, in related news, the sun rises in the east.

But seriously, earlier this  month a former long-time head of the Nevada AFL-CIO signed his John Henry (or his "Danny Thompson," to be specific) on the list of lobbyists, er, Democrats, for Lombardo. And Tommy White, who leads one of the Hollywood Handout unions and rocks Trumpy vibes, took a group of the union's members with him to chum it up at Lombardo's election kickoff event.

One never knows, you see, where the ever and always transactional forces driving Nevada politics may lead. Reaching across the aisle (see below) and its constant Nevada companion "what's in it for me?" are next to godliness. So when I saw a release yesterday saying the AFL-CIO had announced its general election endorsements, yup, I opened it, on the chance there might be a special gubernatorial surprise. There wasn't. But now I've written myself into wondering if Lombardo should have just tried harder ha ha.
