He's still got it! Remember how Indiana state Senate Republicans defied Trump's direct order to redistrict Indiana U.S. House seats, and a vengeful Trump vowed to punish them? Well, only $13.5 million in campaign spending later, five of the seven Indiana Republicans who defied Trump were defeated yesterday.

Holy smackers how relieved Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo must have been when the candidate filing period ended in Nevada without an even passably viable Trumpy challenger running against him in the Republican primary. Until the close of filing, it must have been stressful living with the knowledge that at any time and for any reason at all the easily triggered Trump could have brought Lombardo's political career to an ignominious conclusion — wished him into the cornfield, as it were — with but a single Truth Social post. Well, that and maybe $13.5 million.
